Teak and Steel Garden Benches
Every garden deserves at least one bench – a chance to relax and take pleasure in your garden all year round. Our benches complement the Jo Alexander garden furniture collection of tables and chairs in teak and wicker.
Our collection is suitable for all tastes.
It includes the quintessentially classic English garden bench, available in three sizes, which fits perfectly in any type of garden. It is easy to care for, and with time it will become a cherished and familiar part of the garden. The Lutyens bench, originally designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, is the most beautifully crafted bench for your guests to enjoy. The Monet range is also to be found in our collection, with soft and curvaceous lines, and an elegantly arched back with a smooth roll topped finish. Our new Cornwall bench, especially designed for comfort, has extra wide armrests, which will become handy for holding a refreshing drink!
A highlight in the collection, the Chilton garden bench is produced from Forest Stewardship Council Certified (FSC) teak wood - UK Licence N001615. Our contemporary Piero bench is made from reclaimed teak floorboards from Indonesia. Last but not least, the Burnham Bench has become one of the staples in the collection, sitting well along one side of a table.
All benches have non-visible dowel fixings and are produced using A-grade teak plantation timbers. Jo Alexander garden benches can be kept outdoors all year round or may be stored in a garden shed or garage over winter. If left outdoors, the effects of the sunlight will bleach out the natural timber colours, which will become soft and silvery, leaving the bench to blend in with the outdoor setting.
