About Jo Alexander of Cambridge
The city of Cambridge is best known as the home of the University of Cambridge. The university includes the renowned King's College Chapel and the Cambridge University Library. Many of the Colleges and including the botanical gardens have for decades used Teak for their outdoor furniture. Jo was brought up in Cambridge and this inspired Jo to realise that the classic and traditional choice of Teak would be popular for decades to come.
Jo Alexander Ltd is located in the countryside just west of the City in a sleepy village called Knapwell. We are a small privately owned, family run business that was started in 2000.
A trip to the Far East in the late 90’s enabled Jo to meet all sorts of suppliers from China and Indonesia, and Jo Alexander was formed.
We now have an extensive range of traditional and durable classical garden furniture lines. Recently we have added stainless steel and wicker to suit the ever changing needs of our customers.
Our ranges include garden tables, chairs and benches and recently we have added an interior collection consisting of reclaimed teak beds, chest of drawers, mirrors and much more. All Jo Alexander products are built to a high standard of quality.
A single exhibition in the local village hall led to regular sale events throughout the Spring and Summer, and we now visit locations far and wide from North Yorkshire down to the Cornwall coasts. Our aim is to provide strong reliable products at a low price and in the process to give a more personal touch to your buying experience.
