As an environmentally conscious company, we are delighted to be able to offer teak products that are made from A grade plantation teak supplied by Perhutani (the Indonesian Government Forestry body) which is covered by the FLEGT scheme. FLEGT stands for “Forest Law Enforcement, Government and Trade and was set up agreement between European and Indonesian Governments to ensure sustainability throughout the growing and manufacturing process of timber products.

We're passionate about leaving the planet in a liveable state for our future grandchildren, and we won't support the business of harvesting trees from ancient woodland. Instead, we source from sustainable teak plantations, where the wood is kiln-dried, making it comparable in durability to timber with ancient growth.

Launched in 2017, and crafted in Java, Indonesia, our Tuscan collection re-uses ancient wood and each piece of reclaimed teak tells a story, whether it had a previous life as floorboards in a country manor, been sun-bleached on a boat deck, or held up the eaves of a family home. We believe that the inconsistencies, knots, in-fills, and cracks breathe life and character into our furniture. With all the strength and durability of old-growth teak, there's no compromising on quality. Proof that sustainable, enduring furniture can be exciting.

Reclaimed teak originates from old-growth trees that have been harvested and used as furniture or in construction. Re-using ancient wood is the only sustainable way of sourcing this beautiful and limited resource.

All our wicker furniture is made from Ecolene™, a non-toxic, 100% recyclable woven polyethylene resin fibre. We carefully chose this material because it provides all the sun-bleached warm feel of natural rattan without the maintenance and short life span. Designed to prevent cracking, peeling, breaking, and fading, the textured appeal of woven wicker furniture is finally sustainable and durable even in less sunny climes.

We've sourced a material that delivers a hefty sustainable punch against the ever desirable but less enduring materials commonly used in woven wicker furniture. Ecolene™ fibres are made from a mixture of compounds that are not only guaranteed to endure all-weathers but are entirely non-toxic and free from heavy metal colourants, which makes them 100% recyclable.

It's perfect for all weathers, and for those that live on the coast, you can rejoice in the low maintenance required to keep your furniture looking exquisite. Resistant to mould and mildew, finally, we've found a way of making rattan last more than a season in the UK.
